CBD ISOLATE VS FULL SPECTRUM

“The duality of cannabinoid extractions”  As we begin to grasp the understanding of how diverse cannabinoid therapy truly is, we continue to come across certain terms that may sound a bit confusing to newcomers seeking plant-based therapeutics.  Three common forms of consumption include Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate, each produced while using a unique method of extraction, and all containing optimal healing potential for the patient. Let us begin with a brief breakdown of what we will refer to as our “whole-plant” distillate, also known as full spectrum. This method contains about 65%-75% cannabidiol (CBD) and incorporates a number of other cannabinoids, terpenes and aromatic essentials such as THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBG, CBN,    42357 50th St. W. Lancaster, CA 93536 Suite 103  www.dusttodiamondsinc.com  flavonoids, proteins, phenols and sterols. Full spectrum can be used as an additive in edibles, topicals or smoked as a vapor for dabbing. Some might say that the flavor is comparable to broad spectrum in the sense of being heavy on the tongue and strong on the cannabis flavor, but to each person, a different experience is encountered. Next, we have our “hybrid” distillate, Broad Spectrum. This form begins as a full spectrum, and through a refinement process, all THC compounds are removed. The remaining cannabinoids, terpenes, and other aromatic oils and essential compounds are used to provide therapeutic relief to the consumer, without the elevation from the THC. Some believe that this compound produces a euphoria, nonetheless, but others may argue that this is just the “entourage effect”. Finally, we dabble into the purest form of cannabinoid extraction available, Isolate. Comparable to the process of sugar hardening to form crystallized rock candy, isolate is a crystallized form of cannabidiol and proves to be the most potent extraction of CBD available. CBD isolate is available at a high 99% purity level and is activated and ready to use upon receiving. Some claim that isolate products are the best available due to the high potency of pure CBD extraction, while others find relief in terpene activated CBD isolate products. The modern approach to cannabis consumption through the ingestion of the flower has quickly transitioned towards a diverse world of distillates and topicals. Whether one takes to full spectrum, broad spectrum, isolates or D, all of the above, the restorative solutions provided by cannabinoid therapies are to be discovered for one’s self.   #StayElevated

CULTURE OF CANNABIS

WRITTEN BY: VANESSA MACIAS         THE CULTURE OF CANNABIS: SOCIAL EQUITY LA            ARTICLE IV February 15, 2020 Author: Vanessa Macias Publisher: NUGL Magazine                     Los Angeles, CA/ February 15, 2020/—Dust To Diamonds Incorporated, A California based cannabis health/wellness platform.  “Equality of Opportunity is the Essence of Social Justice”- Tony Honore To truly address the legacies of inequality in communities impacted by the war on drugs, then we must approach our social, economic and environmental systems with holistic solutions. To better understand the sacrifices that the legalized cannabis industry is founded on is a conversation of complexity and high opinion. But the truism of the situation resides in many individuals and communities that are still suffering from the effects of societal injustice, corruption and inequality brought on by the war on drugs.  Where do we begin with such an intrinsic transition towards a culturally diverse cannabis industry?   42357 50th St. W. Lancaster, CA 93536 Suite 103 www.dusttodiamondsinc.com   Los Angeles, California, the first city to approve the historic socially equitable cannabis measure. SB 1294-The California Cannabis Equity Act 2018. This bill is intended to reverse the damaging impacts on individuals (aka “cannabis criminals” according to our judicial system) and the low-income communities in disadvantaged areas which have been affected by prior cannabis prohibition and faulty policies.  While some of the highest rates of racial disparities can be seen within the Latino and Black neighborhoods, many people of color have undergone the brunt end of unregulated cannabis entrepreneurship and have been arrested for selling a product that is now an extremely lucrative market. The Los Angeles Social Equity Program is a restorative solution to reverse the municipal negligence that has led to a decay in our economic infrastructure. Through development of an industry set to better serve the impacted black and brown communities, and empower women and minority groups more effectively, is the beginning of a sustainable industry like no other. Or is it? On September 3, 2019, Phase 3 Round 1 for submissions of the Los Angeles Social Equity Retail Licensing opened. Preparation commenced; qualified applicants connected with investors for what was looking to be a win/win opportunity to own a California cannabis business. The downfall? Incompetency in corporate contracting and a faulty sense of financial education.  How can a newcomer to an equity enterprise be protected from the capitalism in corporate cannabis? Leading the way for the collective voice of the people, Executive Director of LA Department of Cannabis (DCR), Cat Packer, is an impact leader committed to achieving social justice and diversity in the cannabis industry. Advocacy groups such as Social Equity LA, California Minority Alliance, Green Believers, M4MM, to name a few, are driving initiatives to improve historical social justice issues related to cannabis policy, community reinvestment opportunities and resources to help guide applicants towards success.  We are at the infancy of what is a monumental shift in equal opportunity in the cannabis space and beyond. As we enter a new millennium, millennials are bridging the gap amongst racial and ethnic diversity between generations. As the largest (75Million) and most diverse group (44% minority), millennials are dedicated to social justice and are inspired to develop a new and more luminous world. Through harvesting righteousness in this equitable opportunity for brown and black wealth, we are ushering in changes for shaping the entrepreneurial diversity that will be followed by later generations.  #StayElevated

Dust to Diamonds Incorporated Presents the Two Youngest Female CEO’s in the Cannabis Industry with Permits

We have entered an era where changing paradigms, and quite literally a culture, is met in a tackle between the generations.   Medical cannabis, the hottest topic of 2018 has brother against brother, city against city, even government against itself. There is a lot to be learned from the naivety on the subject and it’s exactly that, a problem with how we’re educated about it. Dust to Diamonds Incorporated, a…
